Prior to joining CBI, Mr. Cross spent 24 years with the FBI.  Throughout his career, Mr. Cross was promoted into positions of ever increasing responsibilities.

Mr. Cross was the SSA (Special Supervising Agent) for the Domestic Terrorism Task Force.  In this role, Mr. Cross and his team were responsible for identifying and apprehending individuals involved in domestic terrorism.

Mr. Cross was also an SSA for the Violent Crime Task Force.  In this position, Mr. Cross supervised a team of highly trained professionals. They had the responsibility of identifying, apprehending and participating in the prosecution and conviction of some of the nation's most notorious violent criminals.    

Mr. Cross' leadership skills and specialized training have proven to be a great asset to CBI.  Under Mr. Cross' leadership, CBI’s Investigative Division and Court Services Division has flourished.
